As a Social Data Analyst, you will leverage marketing and social media data to generate insights that help clients better understand their audiences and optimize engagement. You will support the development of strategy, audience targeting, and performance analysis, working closely with internal teams to translate data into action. You will be responsible for contributing to social strategy development via audience and channel analysis, assisting with foundational tasks like channel strategy and audience tone/voice analysis, working with other team members to analyze data and develop go-forward recommendations, utilizing marketing and social media data to uncover insights to drive effectiveness and understanding of our audience behavior and impact, and collecting, analyzing, and distributing program performance metrics and create analytic reports to be shared cross-functionally.
Must have:
- 2-5 years of data analysis experience, preferably in service of a marketing team
- Extremely organized and process-driven
- Ability to convey information clearly and succinctly
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills
- Ability to work on-site as-needed in NYC

We are Looking for:
ASG is proactively building a talent pipeline of Social Data Analysts in the NYC area who are available on a project basis. These are intermittent, freelance-style positions that will be booked on a project-by-project basis, depending on client needs. While we do not have a confirmed start date, we’re seeking candidates who are open to flexible, ad-hoc opportunities and excited to work on innovative projects in the media and entertainment space.

Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to social strategy development via audience and channel analysis

Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-5 years of data analysis experience, preferably in service of a marketing team
- Extremely organized and process-driven
- Ability to convey information clearly and succinctly, either verbally or in written/presentation format
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills
- Ability to work on-site as-needed in NYC
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $59-$65/hour, depending on experience and project scope.
