Job Description
The Social Media and Community Specialist will be responsible for growing and maintaining the company's social media presence, cultivating a strong network of community champions, and overseeing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the MENA region. This role requires a deep understanding of social media behavior, gaming preferences, and community engagement. Responsibilities include planning and executing community initiatives (online and offline events), conducting user research (focus groups and interviews), and building authentic relationships with community champions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gaming, excellent communication skills, and at least one year of experience in social media content planning and analysis.

Job Description
- Grow and maintain our social media presence to cultivate a strong network of community champions, focusing both the quantity of the community champions as well as the engagement quality
- Dive into the community ecosystem, understand their social behavior, gaming preferences, and identify key figures who stand out as community leaders
- Oversee relationships with KOLs in the MENA region and support local engagement efforts through both online and offline activities
- Build authentic, long-term connections with identified community champions by learning what motivates and excites them
- Drive engaging community initiatives across social platforms to boost both reach and quality, include online and offline events like tournaments or creative competitions
- Plan and conduct user research such as focus group discussions (FGD) or in-depth interviews (IDI) to gather insights on product experience, campaigns, and more
Job Requirements
- Minimum a Master's Degree from a reputable university
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social media content planning, including content creation, scheduling, and performance analysis
- A genuine passion for gaming, especially within the competitive games
- Experience in building and managing communities is a plus; capable of nurturing relationships with the community
- Self-starter able to independently execute projects with clear briefs and timelines
