The Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist at VGW will monitor and respond to players across various social media channels, managing both acquisition and retention. Responsibilities include monitoring Sprinklr and Zendesk for messages and campaign responses, managing escalations to other teams, assisting with competition winner selection, and building relationships with key players. The role requires proactive monitoring, excellent communication skills, social media expertise, and the ability to handle a large volume of player engagement. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of social media experience in a fast-paced environment, experience with Zendesk and Sprinklr, and a strong understanding of social media management and strategy.

Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team in Manila and are currently looking for a Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist to join the team.

The Social Media and Marketing Support Specialist will monitor and proactively respond to prospective and existing players across our range of Social Media channels. Your role covers players across both acquisition and retention life stages of the VGW customer journey. You will work closely with your Team Leader to ensure players are responded to and other tasks which enhance our player experience are met to high standards and within a timely manner.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively monitor Sprinklr for private and public messages across all relevant Social Media channels
  • Proactively monitor and manage Zendesk for ‘Big Check’ responses and follow-ups, plus ad hoc campaigns
  • Proactively monitor and manage for priority campaign responses and follow-ups, plus ad hoc campaigns
  • Manage escalations for social posts and priority campaigns, to & from Customer Service and Account Management teams
  • Manage escalations from social community to product/marketing teams when an issue arises
  • Adding relevant tagging procedure for specific comments
  • Assist in selection and remuneration of competition winners based on set criteria
  • Build relationship with key players in your community

What you will bring to the role:

  • A 4-year course college graduate (Marketing, Communications, or any business-related courses).
  • Must have at least 2 to 3 years of social media experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Zendesk and Sprinklr is a plus.
  • You have the ability to handle a large volume of player engagement, often juggling multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • You must have good interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Must be knowledgeable with both social media and community engagement trends in order to provide effective execution strategies.
  • You must have hands-on experience in maintaining momentum in inbound marketing campaigns and addressing both positive and negative feedback from reviews/comments.
  • You have great attention to detail and has the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels and say no when required.
