This internship offers a unique opportunity for a motivated Social Media Intern to join a dynamic team in São Paulo. Responsibilities include creating high-quality social media content, acting as the brand's public face on various platforms (including Telegram and WhatsApp), curating external content, staying updated on trends, collaborating on engagement strategies, and interacting with the online community. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills in Portuguese (English proficiency is a plus), some social media/content creation experience (preferred but not required), familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools, creativity, proactiveness, and comfort speaking on camera to large audiences. A passion for sports and online games is essential. The position is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days a week in the office, with additional evening/weekend event attendance (compensated with extra days off).

Social Media Intern

We are excited to offer an unique opportunity for a motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team in São Paulo. As an intern, you will play a key role in developing and executing creative social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our community, and expand our reach across various platforms.

Responsibilities

- Create high-quality, creative, and audience-focused content for Sporty social media platforms.

- Serve as the public-facing representative of the brand on social media, embodying its voice and values across all channels.

- Curate and adapt content from external sources (e.g., memes, breaking news, hot topics) to keep the channels fresh and relevant.

- Stay up-to-date with current trends, news, and cultural moments to ensure timely and impactful content delivery.

- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute strategies that enhance audience engagement and brand visibility.

- Interact with our online community by responding to comments and messages promptly, fostering an engaging and positive digital environment.

Requirements

Education: Currently pursuing a degree or Masters in a related field (Journalism, marketing, audiovisual, performing art).

Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese; proficiency in English is a plus.

Experience: Some prior experience in social media, marketing, or content creation is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms, including Telegram and WhatsApp, basic knowledge of content creation tools, and a willingness to learn.

Personal Qualities: A creative thinker, proactive learner, and strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask effectively. Must feel comfortable in speaking in front the cameras to large audiences.

Passionate about sports and online games.

Location: Must be based in São Paulo and available to work from the office at least 3 days per week. This position will also require this person to attend external events in the evenings and during the weekends, you will receive these days back during the week.

Availability: Ability to commit to a part-time schedule with flexibility to adapt to varying work hours.
