About the role:

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who feels comfortable growing our social presence from the ground up. In this role, you will work on both the social strategy and execution across our channels, with the goal of driving further brand awareness and user education. You will establish content pillars across social channels, own the company content calendar, orchestrate content production, create content yourself, and manage postings and reactions.

This role requires someone who lives and breathes social, with a keen sense of what will perform, from YouTube tutorials to Reels to tweets. You’re energized by the prospect of building a large audience across platforms.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience successfully managing and growing a brand’s social media presence, with a focus on video-heavy channels like YouTube, Instagram (Reels), and TikTok.

• You have experience switching between planning and execution work. This includes developing a strategy for various social channels, creating monthly or weekly content calendars, and executing against your own plan.

• You’re organized, adept at juggling multiple tasks and priorities, and have a system to ensure things don’t slip through the cracks.

• You have a strong aesthetic eye, are a strong writer, and exhibit solid editorial judgment. This translates to a talent for developing captivating content that aligns with our brand's identity .

• You’re very much online and deeply understand internet culture and how to engage and create social trends.

• You have a strong camera presence and experience creating content yourself .

Bonus Points:

• You understand how organic search ties into content creation on YouTube (e.g. what topics to prioritize).

• You follow tech Twitter, understand what lands, and feel comfortable joining the conversation.

• A deep understanding of the creator and video editing space.

Compensation Range: $100K - $140K
