The Social Platform Specialist, TikTok will be the go-to expert for the TikTok platform, ensuring best-in-class publishing practices, strategic engagement, and data-driven performance optimization. Responsibilities include monitoring the TikTok ecosystem, creating internal documentation, acting as the internal expert on best practices, analyzing performance metrics, creating insights reports, recommending and executing A/B tests, managing content publishing workflow, ensuring consistent branding, developing governance and documentation, serving as the primary point of contact for technical support, and training internal stakeholders.

Job Details

The Daily Wire is seeking a highly strategic and detail-oriented Platform Specialist, TikTok. In this role, you’ll act as the go-to expert for your assigned platform—ensuring best-in-class publishing practices, strategic engagement, and data-driven performance optimization. You’ll play a vital role in driving audience growth, content innovation, and platform-specific excellence across the company.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Stay deeply immersed in the TikTok ecosystem—monitoring feature rollouts, algorithm changes, competitor activity, and emerging content trends
  • Maintain internal documentation (e.g., wikis, update briefs) to keep cross-functional teams informed on platform developments
  • Act as the internal expert on TikTok's best practices, creative strategy, and platform-specific dos and don’ts
  • Analyze post- and channel-level performance metrics such as watch time, completion rate, CTR, follower growth, and content saves/shares
  • Create and deliver weekly insights reports to guide content and distribution decisions; present findings to the VP of Social
  • Recommend and execute A/B tests on thumbnails, post timing, captions, and content formats to optimize engagement and reach
  • Proactively lead performance triage and strategy pivots in response to algorithm shifts or performance dips, testing new content styles like TikTok Q&As, trends, or interactive formats
  • Manage the full content publishing workflow on TikTok—crafting titles and captions, sourcing or commissioning thumbnails, scheduling posts, and optimizing for discovery
  • Ensure consistent branding and cross-platform alignment where applicable
  • Develop governance and documentation for TikTok usage and data compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, vendor communication, and tool-related troubleshooting
  • Train internal stakeholders on TikTok tools, platform trends, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement


Experience & Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience managing brand channels or equivalent on a major platform (e.g., YouTube, Meta, TikTok) or equivalent work experience.
  • Expertise in platform-specific analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite)
  • Deep knowledge of platform algorithms and content formats
  • Analytical mindset with A/B testing and performance refinement experience
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
