Software Application Engineer – Workforce Management (Time & Attendance)

As Tesla expands our workforce globally, we are striving to build a comprehensive Workforce Management suite of applications for our employee base, allowing for them to focus on their day-to-day functions and accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

We are seeking a Software Applications Engineer to work on internal Time & Attendance, Workforce Management application and automation tools for growing business needs. You will focus on building enhancements for global markets, focusing on EMEA and work with Applications engineering team on system enhancements, configurations, and integrations.

• Work on internal Time & Attendance system configurations, deployments and updates, with the global applications team
• Review regional Payroll/ HR/ Operations needs and partner with key stakeholders on system enhancements, features delivery
• Review common issues and questions and provide timely support. Provide timely resolution in conjunction with Help Desk/ Answer Bar
• Work closely with Systems Manager/ applications team and end users on On-going projects and upgrades including new pay rule configurations, scheduling, leave setups, attendance policies.
• Perform system enhancements/ updates and new system rollouts.
• Train Payroll/ HR/ Users on the usage of system tools and address common reporting needs and gaps.
• Work with HR teams on policy audits, change management for system updates.
• Experienced with business process reviews, documentation and improvements through automation, system enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned.
