Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the future of Yahoo News’ newsletter products.
Develop reusable newsletter web components with existing platforms and modern infrastructure.
Make full-stack contributions for newsletter email products: enhancing email tracking and reporting, creating email templates and modules, and improving email personalization.
Design, integrate, and maintain solutions for integrating ads into email.
Scope, plan, and implement best-in-class software practices, strategies, and procedures—migrating and refactoring core technology components for Yahoo News as necessary.
Qualifications
Strong programming skills in Javascript, React, and Node.js.
Experience with HTML/CSS and related frameworks.
Experience with architecting infrastructure in AWS or GCP.
Predisposition towards testing, instrumentation, and documentation.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and version control.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
Bonus points for any of the following:
Proficiency with Next.js.
Experience building HTML email templates.
Usage of email platforms such as Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) or Stensul.
Any prior experience with AdTech, Google Ad Manager, etc

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
