At VIBES we make innovative software to reduce sound and vibrations, which is used in the development of electrical vehicles and high-tech industry. Because we operate in a niche market, we are driven to create top-quality stand-alone software, which is used by leading companies worldwide, such as BMW, Hyundai, Volvo and ASML.

Your unique opportunities at VIBES

The context for this position is unique. As a software developer at VIBES.technology you will be:

• Working in a team of passionate software developers, while interacting with project engineers, designers and others in the VIBES team;

• Challenged to think out solutions to technical engineering problems. This will trigger your creative as well as your analytical mind!

• Be responsible for the implementation of VIBES’ technical innovations into beautiful and intuitive desktop applications, while taking your own decisions regarding development, architecture and design;

• Work together with product managers to realize products and solutions guided by a future-proof roadmap;

• Be part of a non-hierarchical team with a great team spirit.

Who are you?

• You are a talented software developer with at least a relevant BSc. degree like Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computational Science;

• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in C#/.NET development;

• You love to work in a cooperative team of developers to realize technical and mathematical solutions with high engineering usability;

• You have an interest in Sound & Vibration engineering, and you are ready to start learning about both the VIBES domain and the mathematics involved;

• You do not jump into solutions right away: you like to analyze the problem first and discuss potential solutions with your colleagues;

• As we develop desktop applications using .NET and WPF, experience with WPF, XAML and MVVM is a plus;

• You have excellent written and verbal proficiency in English;

• You are located in the Netherlands. Alternatively, you are located not far away from the Netherlands being ready to relocate because you already have a valid work permit.

A successful hiring process for this position consists of 5 steps:

2.      Interview with a Senior Developer (+/- 45 min)

3.      Interview, case study and presentation with Software Team (+/- 120 min)

4.      After that (hopefully) a contract proposal
