Job Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing front-end and back-end components using Java, Spring, and AWS services. They will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, contribute to technical design discussions, support CI/CD pipelines, and participate in agile ceremonies. The engineer should also troubleshoot system issues, maintain integration across multiple teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle. The role requires strong communication skills, experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and AWS. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and experience with Docker and Kubernetes. The goal is to create robust and scalable software solutions.
Must have:
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and experience

  • Proficiency with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and microservices in AWS
  • Experience building robust and scalable RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Familiarity with the full system lifecycle, including DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services
Good to have:
  • Background or experience in Wireless OSS or Inventory Management systems

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000

Type: Direct Hire
Sponsorship Available: No – Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Most Important:

  • Strong communication skills — must be able to clearly explain technical concepts and experience

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and testing complex software solutions

  • Proficiency with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and microservices in AWS or other cloud environments

  • Experience building robust and scalable RESTful APIs

  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals — object oriented analysis and design, data structures, algorithms, and problem/solution fit

  • Familiar with full system lifecycle, including DevOps, CI/CD, Security, Configuration Management, and support

  • Experience using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes

  • Comfortable working with technologies like graph databases, pub/sub, and event streaming tools

  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services

Huge Plus:

  • Background or experience in Wireless OSS or Inventory Management systems

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to take ownership of projects and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in cloud-based environments

  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test both front-end and back-end components using Java, Spring, and AWS services

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to plan, deliver, and support complex software solutions

  • Contribute to technical design discussions and promote best practices in code quality, performance, and security

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain seamless integration across multiple teams

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development lifecycle
