Role Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in TypeScript to join our team responsible for building integrated solutions for VSCode extensions' users. The mission is to deliver LSEG Analytics data content into our new LSEG Analytics extension for VSCode.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements
• Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements
• Ensures responsiveness for applications and services
• Co-ordinates work for large development results
• Collaborate with Product Managers to have comprehensive product workflows
• Work closely with the Quality Engineering team to ensure the high quality of the deliverables
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong TypeScript skills with 2+ years experience
• Strong experience in building Framework and APIs
• Strong experience design patterns, unit testing frameworks (Jest), automation (testing/deployment), CI/CD
• Experience with React Web Framework
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies across the full stack
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams
• Nice to have – experience developing VSCode extensions
