Job Description
This role focuses on shaping the future of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Console's front-end development. The Software Engineer will drive alignment across teams, build community support for internal developers, and deliver transformational improvements in developer efficiency. Responsibilities include technical leadership on high-impact projects, managing project priorities, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage AI to improve the Cloud Console Platform and create a delightful developer experience for internal stakeholders working on Cloud web experiences. This involves working with various Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Databases, Networking, and Storage.

- Experience with TypeScript, Angular, or Kotlin
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization
Must Have:
- 8+ years software development experience
- 5+ years testing and launching software products
- 3+ years software design and architecture experience
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, GraphQL
- Technical leadership on high-impact projects
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, GraphQL, Web Development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience in TypeScript, Angular, or Kotlin.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
