Job Description

As a Software Engineer, Data Residency, Monitoring and Compliance, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. You will also contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback. You will triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. You will manage batch processing pipelines and services and new monitoring solutions for Cloud and TI resources. You will also work on continuous compliance monitoring.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science
  • Experience in Google infrastructure, data analysis and cloud compliance
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience in Google infrastructure, data analysis and cloud compliance.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences at many different levels.
  • Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving and analytical skills and data intuitions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
