Job Description

Google seeks Software Engineers to develop cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, team development, and working on projects critical to Google's needs. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience (various programming languages, data structures/algorithms), 3+ years in testing/maintaining/launching software, and 1+ year in software design/architecture. Engineers will work on diverse projects, from information retrieval to AI, requiring versatility and a willingness to tackle new challenges across the full-stack. Opportunities for team and project switching exist as the company grows.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years software development experience
3+ years testing/maintaining/launching software
1+ year software design/architecture experience
Proficient in data structures and algorithms

Good to have:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science
Experience with information retrieval
Experience with distributed computing

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
