Job Description

As a Software Engineer II in Google's Contact Center AI Platform team based in Zurich, Switzerland, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of AI-powered contact center solutions. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, participating in design reviews, contributing to documentation, and resolving product issues. You will work with various technologies and collaborate across multiple engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with software development (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript), data structures, and algorithms. Experience with AI solutions and SaaS implementation is preferred. This role involves contributing to a critical Google project with opportunities for growth and evolution within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
