Software Engineer II, Unity3D/VR

OUR DESIGN TEAM
We collaborate remotely with the world’s best minds across animation, mixed reality, gaming and digital media to deliver vertically integrated solutions that span from supporting opportunity definition through to R&D, production and delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will develop and maintain VR applications in Unity C#
- You will develop virtual objects/scene geometry interactions or physics
- You will use the tracking and interaction SDKs to track the positions and orientations of the VR headset/controllers
- You will develop custom shaders for various visual effects
- Take ownership of technical issues and work to resolve them
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams including artists, animators, storytellers and game designers
- Design, develop, test and support the deployment of new software components and systems
WHO YOU ARE
- BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience developing UX and mechanics in games, VR/AR, or other related 3D products
- 2+ years experience working with Unity and developing in C#
- Strong experience deploying on VR headsets
- Software engineering generalist familiar with common data structures, algorithms, and architectures
- Familiarity with 3D vector math concepts and their usage in popular 3D engines
- Experience with git, svn, and other popular source control systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process
- Has demonstrable experience working with cross-organizational engineering teams
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and able to work both in a team and independently
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 to $165,000 plus equity (per qualifications)
