Job Description

Develop advanced algorithms and software systems to enhance the Pixel camera's color photography. This role involves creating cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms for improved auto white balance and color quality. Collaboration with camera software and hardware teams is crucial for Pixel camera product development. Responsibilities include software development for Pixel Camera Auto White Balance and Color algorithms, and launching research projects impacting Pixel phone users. The position requires expertise in C++, Python, image processing, and machine learning, with a focus on improving the overall Pixel camera experience.
Must have:
  • C++ and Python experience
  • Image processing expertise
  • Machine Learning skills
  • Auto White Balance algorithm development
  • Pixel camera software development
Good to have:
  • Master's or PhD in related field
  • 2 years of Auto White Balance ML experience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with C++ and Python.
  • 2 years of experience in Image processing, Machine Learning (ML) or computational photography.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in auto white balance algorithm development.
  • 2 years of Machine Learning auto white balance experience.
