THE ROLE

Toptracer is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test who excels in both software development and testing. With a deep commitment to quality and a drive to resolve complex problems, you will join the Tracking Core team. This team is pioneering Toptracer’s groundbreaking ball tracking technology, transforming over 1000 driving ranges and 100 Topgolf venues worldwide. In this pivotal role, you will leverage a data-driven approach to product design, enabling the team to make well-informed decisions and deliver impactful results.

POSSIBILITIES

• Play a crucial role in a dynamic, cross-functional team that is at the forefront of developing Toptracer's core technology.
• Shape development methodologies from scratch and contribute to the evolution of our technological practices.
• Thrive in a company culture that prioritizes fun, care, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks, ensuring the reliability of our tracking software.
• Analyze data to derive insights that guide product design decisions.
• Engage with system engineers, data scientists, algorithm designers, software engineers, and DevOps engineers in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Design and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics related to quality and ball tracking performance.
• Take part in the development and enhancement of new features and algorithms within the team’s components.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in test automation and data-driven development.
• Proficient with Python and skilled in databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern software engineering principles and practices.
• Proficient with GitLab (or similar) and shell scripting in a Linux environment.
• Solid foundation in DevOps principles and tools.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Flexible and cooperative personality with a curious and positive mindset

IT IS ALSO DESIRABLE WITH

• Hands-on experience with Rust.
• Experience with programming in C++.
• Experience with data analytics in tools such as PowerBI.
