Job Description
This position, based in Bengaluru, involves supporting and enhancing the Channel Management application on the Oracle APEX platform. The role requires designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the Oracle APEX Platform (Oracle PaaS). Key responsibilities include contributing to the application roadmap, collaborating with stakeholders, and promptly addressing escalations. The role will also involve carrying out enhancements and projects in PLSQL and Oracle APEX Development based on business requirements. The candidate will also lead the APEX team, finalize development standards and own IT SOX controls.
Must have:
- Experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database products.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
- Experience with JavaScript and relevant technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Python, RPA Automation.

This position will be based in our office in Bengaluru and provides support services to maintain and enhance Channel Management application on Oracle APEX platform. In this role you will be responsible to design, develop and maintain the application(s) on Oracle APEX Platform (Oracle PaaS). Will provide key inputs on the Application Road map. Work closely with key stakeholders and also respond promptly to escalations. Will also be responsible for carrying out any Enhancements/Projects in PLSQL and Oracle APEX Development based on Business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the APEX team and drive Key projects and manage the application support for Channel Management application on Oracle APEX platform
- Finalize and Enhance key Development standards and own the IT SOX controls for the application.
- Design, develop, test, and implement features and code using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Perform requirements analysis, development, design, testing, and deployment of custom Oracle applications.
- Write and optimize PL/SQL code for data manipulation and retrieval.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, packages, and functions in PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with other developers and project managers to enhance database functionalities.
- Conduct performance tuning of PL/SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Maintain documentation on all work products.
- Evaluate new features and technologies and drive implementation.
- Help end users understand application features to accomplish their business purposes.
Skill Required:
- Proven experience working with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database products.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
- Experience with JavaScript and other relevant technologies.
- Can assist in the design of complex information system(s) that will integrate with existing solution
- Should be able to understand the business requirement and overall system architecture and documents multiple solutions and chooses the best solution based on a criterion
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- At least 3 plus years of relevant experience in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX development.
- Have performed Root Cause Analysis for critical and recurring issues.
- Knowledge of Python, RPA Automation and related skills will be desirable.
