Job Description

Google's Software Engineers develop cutting-edge technologies impacting billions of users. This role involves working on critical projects, with opportunities for team/project changes. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, team development, and contributing to software development using various programming languages, data structures, and algorithms. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience, including testing, maintenance, launching products, and software design/architecture. A Master's/PhD in a related field is preferred. The role demands versatility, leadership, and enthusiasm for tackling full-stack problems across a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Must have:

5+ years software development experience
Experience with data structures/algorithms
Testing, maintenance, and product launch experience
Software design and architecture experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience in information retrieval
Distributed computing experience
Large-scale system design experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
