Job Description

Google seeks Software Engineers to develop cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, team development, and working on critical projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of software development experience (including data structures/algorithms), 3+ years of testing/maintenance/launching software, and 1+ year of software design/architecture experience. Engineers must be versatile, display leadership, and enthusiastically tackle full-stack challenges. The role involves working on projects crucial to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years software development experience
3+ years testing/maintenance/launching software
1+ year software design/architecture
Data structures/algorithms expertise
Technical leadership and team development

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in Computer Science
Experience in information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design and mobile

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
