Software Engineer Traineeship: If you are passionate about software engineering and want to join a global leader in digital payments, the Software Engineer Traineeship Program at Visa is for you. This program combines intensive training, hands-on mentorship, and real-world projects to help you launch your career as a software engineer at Visa.
This is a 16 months long opportunity aimed at people with no prior experience but interested in IT training with an organization whilst also earning a salary.
Software Engineer Trainees will be put through an 18-week bootcamp first, where they will receive full-time classroom-style training that will prepare them to begin their careers as Software Engineer professionals at Visa.
Following this Trainees will complete one year of On-The-Job Training, during which time they will receive hands on mentorship from leaders within on of the technology groups at Visa, as well as related technical instruction, and career development workshops to develop professional and durable skills. Specific assignments will depend on upon your skillsets, interest, and team needs. This apprenticeship is intended for individuals who want to learn and develop entry-level technical and professional skills in software engineering. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
