Job Description
As a Backend Developer at Xsolla, you will enhance Xsolla User Engagement services within the Xsolla Wallet (B2C product). This involves designing and developing highly concurrent, scalable backend services, integrating with third-party components (payment systems, cloud services), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining seamless integration with other Xsolla products. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining domain microservices (RESTful APIs, background workers, etc.) and optimizing existing features. The role requires proficiency in Go, experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), message queues, and in-memory caching strategies. High-level system architecture experience is beneficial.

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join us in enhancing the Xsolla User Engagement services, part of our Xsolla Wallet flagship B2C product. The Xsolla Wallet is our consumer-facing brand, integrated gracefully into game titles, and payment interactions, offering features from personal info and payment methods to digital items and banking services. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize existing features and roll out new updates, all while maintaining seamless integration with other Xsolla core products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and developing highly concurrent, scalable backend services
- Integrating our services with third-party components (payment systems, cloud services, SaaS solutions)
- Collaborate closely with other developers and product team members
- Development and maintenance of domain microservices (RESTful API, publishers/consumers, background workers, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of solid backend development experience
- Proficient with Go programming language, good understanding of its internals and built-in concurrency support
- Proficient with relational database like PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Experience working with message queues
- Experience with in-memory caching strategy
- Depending on your level, experience with high-level system architecture
- Understanding clean code and software documentation importance
- Ability to work and be flexible in a fast pace environment
