Software Engineering Manager
Patterned Learning AI is seeking a talented Engineering Manager with a proven track record for mentoring and managing engineering teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our engineering efforts, build a collaborative and high-performing team, and drive the development of mission-critical software.

As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding engineers, ensuring successful project execution, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work with various stakeholders to set priorities, develop schedules, and create an achievable execution strategy for the engineering team to follow. Responsibilities
Improve existing software development processes and procedures, ensuring consistent standard and best practices across multiple product development initiatives.
Help create long-term roadmaps while ensuring short-term sprint objectives are met.
Develop and administer technical training and certification programs to enhance the skills and expertise of the team.
Work with engineers from other disciplines to develop software requirements and support design artifacts
Help foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required.
Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
5+ years’ relevant engineering experience.
3+years’ experience in a technical lead/engineering management position.
Experience guiding agile teams on how to use Agile/Scrum practices.
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, and automated test.
Experience with cloud services, such as AWS.
