As a Software Image Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and implementing test cases with minimal guidance. You will need to conduct free testing without scripts and tools. Your ability to report bugs effectively with strong isolation and regression techniques is crucial. This role requires managing various deliverables, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress and risks. Continuous learning in video technologies and new testing methods is essential. You will collaborate with team members, engage with Engineering and Design teams, and advocate for users. Streamlining data collection and parsing large datasets are highly valued.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and implementing test cases with minimal direction. Your ability to free test, without scripts and tools will be paramount. Reporting bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques will be the key to your success. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video technologies as well as new testing techniques are what will set you apart. You will work closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts. You should have comfort in continual dialogue with Engineering and Design as products evolve, and you will need to have compassion for users so you can effectively advocate on their behalf. Lastly, having the ability to streamline processes for data collection and systematically parse large data sets will be a huge plus.
