Job Description

As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing detailed manual test cases for new features of Fusion electronics. You will identify, document, and prioritize defects, create test designs and cases, and contribute to regression testing of end-to-end workflows. Collaborating with software developers, you will troubleshoot issues related to electronics design modules and communicate test strategies and status to stakeholders. This role involves working with a global team of engineers, product designers, and quality assurance engineers, testing workflows, and user experience for tools' interoperability.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in Fusion or other 3D Design software
  • Experience in Eagle, Altium Design, Cadence or other PCB/Electronics Design software
  • Experience in Allegro or other Library Design software
  • Experience in automation testing, load testing and security testing
  • PCB design and manufacturing experience is a plus
Must Have:
  • 2+ years of software testing experience
  • 1+ years of web testing experience
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies
  • Fluency in Oral & Written English
  • Understand QA methodologies and software development process
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science

Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing into one cloud-based platform. We are seeking a talented Software QA Engineer to join the Fusion Electronics team in Krakow, Poland.

Electronics form the foundation of Mechatronics design for Autodesk Fusion. The Fusion Electronics workspace enhances Fusion's capabilities to create Mechatronics designs, thereby improving users' experience. Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed manual test cases for new features of Fusion electronics
  • Identify, document and prioritize defects with clear steps
  • Create test design and cases for new features base on the product design
  • Contribute to regression testing of end-to-end workflows
  • Collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot issues related to electronics design modules
  • Communicate with stakeholders and teams about test strategies, test planning, status and risks
  • Collaborate with the extended team of software engineers, product designers and quality assurance engineers across worldwide teams
  • Test workflows and user experience for tools' interoperability

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or Computer science
  • 2+ years of software testing experience
  • 1+ years of web testing and client testing experience
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database systems.
  • Embrace changes and can work under pressure.
  • Fluency Oral & Written English
  • Passion to improve product quality
  • Understand the software QA methodologies and software development process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Fusion or other 3D Design software
  • Experience in Eagle, Altium Design, Cadence or other PCB/Electronics Design software
  • Experience in Allegro or other Library Design software
  • Experience in automation testing, load testing and security testing
  • PCB design and manufacturing experience is a plus
