The Azure Specialist Manager leads and develops a high-performing team of Azure specialists to drive solution opportunity revenue and market share in the Czech and Slovak markets. This senior leadership role involves coordinating holistic cloud efforts across infrastructure, data, applications, and security. The manager will drive new business, maintain 50% YoY growth, and lead sellers in pipeline management to overachieve revenue targets. Strong partnerships with sales teams and other departments are crucial. The role also includes people management, developing diverse talent, and personally engaging with CxO-level clients to support team success. Proficiency in Czech or Slovak is required.

Overview

Sales Technical Unit sets the sales strategy, leads technical sales, and operations. We work closely with other Microsoft teams and partners, especially Account teams and Customer success in order to position MS solution in to meet our customers’ needs. We go deep into solutioning on various layers from BC preparation, high level architecture and contract management.

 

The Azure Specialist Manager is a senior leader within our enterprise sales organization and leads, develops and manages a team of high performing Azure Infra, Azure Data and App Innovation Specialists and Technical resources to drive solution opportunity revenue and market share.  This role is a key leader in our overall Azure sales strategy, responsible for coordinating holistic cloud efforts across infrastructure, data, applications, and security.  Preferred candidates will carry both Azure technical and business acumen to lead digital transformation efforts with customers that own both technical and decision making, including executive board rooms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND extensive years of technology-related sales Management
  • OR extensive experience in solution sales for Azure solutions or similar business public cloud migrations selling software-as-a-service or cloud-based business applications to enterprise customers successfully displacing competitors
  • This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Czech OR Slovak as you will be assigned to the Czech/Slovak Customer Market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Driving new business, maintaining 50% YoY growth across Infra, Data and AI, App Innovation and Security workload in Czech and Slovak market;
  • Maintain all technical aspects of Azure velocity, solution selling and contract management
  • Pipeline and Sales Management: Lead sellers to build and maintain strong, accurate pipeline and drive the Azure business to overachieve revenue, consumption, and scorecard targets
  • Drives strong partnership with sales teams and other teams engaging in the customer (e.g., partners, services, Customer Success, engineering support, etc.) to identify new business opportunities
  • People Management: Develops a high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing development, leading by example and by preparing people for more senior positions in other parts of the organization. 
  • Customer centricity: Lead from the front, personally engaging at CxO level to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration Engages with technical and business leaders on both business and technical outcomes to drive customer value.
