Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand audio requirements and deliver tailored sound solutions.
- Set up and operate audio equipment, including speakers, microphones, amplifiers, mixers, and other relevant gear.
- Perform sound checks before the demonstrations of the speakers to ensure optimal audio quality and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Coordinate with other technical staff, including lighting and visual teams, to ensure seamless integration of audio and visual elements.
- Conduct regular maintenance and testing of audio equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in audio technology and techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to the team technicians as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in audio engineering.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers.
- Strong knowledge of sound acoustics, signal flow, and audio processing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional audio experiences.
- Previous experience in the professional speaker sales industry is a plus.
- Proven experience of 1-3 years as an Audio/Sound Engineer in live events, performances or similar settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production or a related field is preferred.
