Job Description

The Specialist R&D Reliability Engineer will develop and implement reliability strategies for integrated modules, including reliability testing, failure analysis, and life cycle management. They will design and implement reliability tests to detect design weaknesses, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), monitor KPIs, utilize predictive techniques, and collaborate with various teams. The role also involves developing reliability monitoring plans, validating lifetime models, identifying process improvements, and providing troubleshooting support. This position requires expertise in RF components, adherence to industry standards, and ensuring customer specifications are met. They will develop and validate lifetime and reliability models to produce product quality performance. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements which impact the business in defect reduction, cost reduction/avoidance and increased customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reliability strategies for integrated module, including ATE reliability test, failure analysis, risk assessment and life cycle management.
  • Design and implement appropriate reliability test to detect design weaknesses at early phase of design cycles and ensure that new product meets customer expectations as well as targeted reliability goals.
  • Capable to conduct Root cause Analysis (RCA), Failure mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical process control (SPC)  for new products tzero investigation and new process buyoff.
  • Perform reliability testing on RF integrated module and components ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time to Failures (MTTF), Design of Experiments (DOE) to predict the long term reliability of the new products.
  • Utilize predictive techniques such as mechanical/shock analysis, accelerated stress condition and RF testing to its maximum performance limits and identify potential failures in RF components.
  • Able to collaborate and work with different teams e.g Design, packaging, NPI, manufacturing operations team to ensure RF components are reliable, meet customer specifications and comply with industry standards.
  • Develop and creation of reliability monitoring plan and documentation for product reliability monitoring.
  • Develop and validate lifetime and reliability models to produce product quality performance
  • Proactive identify opportunities for process improvements which impact the business in defect reduction, cost reduction/avoidance and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert guideline and troubleshooting to support RMA and customer return PRTs.
