Responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with sponsorship partners, managing communications, ensuring seamless execution of agreements, and collaborating on marketing activations. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the global sports landscape, particularly football and MMA, and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will participate in content development, data analysis, budget management, and identify innovative sponsorship opportunities. Experience in sponsorship coordination and a strong understanding of social media marketing are essential.

An opportunity to join our Sponsorship Marketing team where you’ll be a crucial contributor to managing and growing Easygo’s sponsorship portfolio. This role involves key responsibilities where you will develop and maintain strong relationships with our brand’s sponsorship partners, manage communications, as well as review and ensure seamless execution of sponsorship agreements.

No two days will be the same where you’ll immerse yourself in tasks around Sponsorship Coordination, Communication and Relationship Management, Activations Planning and Execution, Content Development, Data Management, Data Analysis and Budget Management - all while conducting ongoing research and bringing innovative ideas to the table!

What you will do: 

Sponsorship Coordination:

  • Assist in the development and execution of sponsorship strategies and content planning for Stake’s F1 team, Everton Football Club, the UFC as well as brand ambassadors including Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, Sergio Aguero, and many more.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end marketing readiness for sponsorships, from initial negotiation to post-event evaluation.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sponsorships to ensure all sponsorship agreements are documented and fulfilled. 

Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Ensure timely and effective communication with external sponsorship partners and agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs and objectives while prioritizing Stake and/or Kick marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams/departments to convey sponsorship requirements and ensure alignment with overall marketing goals. 

Activations Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the respective sponsorship account managers to ideate and execute unique and high-engagement activations into the overall marketing plans. 
  • Ensure Stake and Kick receive the agreed-upon visibility and benefits during the term of the partnership. 
  • Coordinate logistics related to sponsorships, including any activations set up, promo offers and other promotional materials. 

Content Development:

  • Work alongside other departments such as Affiliation, Social media, SEO,  Paid media, Design as well as the Promotions to create marketing promotional materials and content for brand ambassadors and team partners. 
  • Ensure that sponsorship-related content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and effectively communicates the brand message. 
  • Lead content ideation and development for Stake and Kick’s partnership portfolio, which focuses on short format content across social media platforms.

Data Management and Analysis:

  • Analyze and report on the performance of sponsorships, deliverables, and event activations, providing insights and recommendations. 
  • Track and report on KPIs related to sponsorship activities. 

Budget Management:

  • Assist in the development and management of sponsorship budgets. 
  • Monitor spending to ensure it aligns with approved budgets and provide regular updates to the Head of Sponsorships and the Chief Marketing Officer. 

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay informed about industry trends in iGaming, digital media, sports, entertainment and live streaming categories. 
  • Propose innovative ideas for activations and partnerships to enhance the overall sponsorship portfolio. 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, sports management, business, or a related field. 
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in sponsorship coordination or related marketing roles. 
  • A comprehensive understanding of the global sports landscape, with a specific focus on Football (Soccer) and Mixed Martial Arts/Combat sports (UFC), is essential.
  • Strong presentation and networking skills. 
  • Ability to always think from the perspective of both the consumer and the brand and communicate effectively with consumers through digital and social media while protecting the brand’s identity. 

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Canva, Mixpanel/Tableau and other relevant marketing tools.
  • Experience with social media campaigns, specifically on platforms such as Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and Kick.
  • Developing copywriting expertise with a particular emphasis on sports. 
  • Having previous experience in working with and overseeing sports agencies. 
  • Understanding the sportsbook and casino category within the betting category.
