We are looking for a Sportsbook Manager to establish, then spearhead, the Sportsbook department for Stake LatAm. The role will focus on implementing processes and designing periodic reports.
The Sportsbook Manager will be responsible for the department KPI’s to achieve the goals set by Stake. This role will work closely with external odds providers, vendors and services providers, and will be tasked with ensuring the team is set up for success and efficiency.
The Sportsbook Manager role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the (what is initially two people) team. Subsequently you will be required to carry out their one-to-ones, career development and identify the future needs of the team, including resource management and expanding the team when appropriate.
Role and Responsibilities
- Management and development of the product, ensuring it grows appropriately using wagering KPI’s and services the customer needs.
- Identify any issues that may arise with suppliers and/or the platform, then work closely alongside the appropriate parties to escalate and address these issues accordingly.
- Line management including periodic out one-to-one’s, career development plans and the staff rota/scheduling.
- Liaise with Operational colleagues across all locations to assist with the global effort to make Stake the number one entertainment brand.
Work experience and skills
Essential experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working within the wagering / sports betting industry.
- A strong knowledge of sports trading, wagering and odds compiling.
- Strong Product Management knowledge and experience.
- A team player and highly collaborative individual who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up to get the job done for the team.
Desirable Experience / Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of the LatAm Sports market.
- Previous experience of managing a sports wagering product is highly desirable.
- Previous experience of managing a team is highly desirable.

- A keen interest and expert knowledge of Sports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive mindset when faced with challenging requirements and situations.
- An ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external service providers, agencies, vendors, associations, and other external facing organizations.

Relationships
- This position will work closely with the Director of Operations (LatAm) with ongoing support and supervision from the International Head of Sportsbook.
- Work closely and establish a positive working relationship with Racing & Sports and Racebook HQ as well as other vendors and suppliers.
