Ajmera Infotech seeks a Senior ASP.NET Engineer with 5-12 years of experience for a full-time, on-site position in Austin, Texas. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable ASP.NET web applications using Microsoft Azure services (App Service, SQL Database, Functions). The role requires proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core (7&8) MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. The engineer will manage databases, optimize code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot defects, and maintain technical documentation. This is a permanent position requiring a background check and drug screen. US Citizenship is required; sponsorship is not offered.
Must have:

We are looking for an experienced Senior ASP.NET Developer skilled in C#, ASP.NET Core (7&8) MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Azure Cloud services, including App Service, SQL Database, and Functions. Proficient in SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps, and adept at integration, security, and monitoring for sophisticated Azure-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable ASP.NET web applications.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure services for the design, implementation, and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
- Manage databases, with a focus on SQL Server, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Optimize code for performance and adhere to coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects promptly.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in ASP.NET development, with proven Azure experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Familiarity with React or Angular.
- Database Skills: Strong experience with SQL Server and efficient database schema design.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability: Quick learner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You should know about the position:
- This is a permanent, full-time position, working from an office in Austin, Taxes, and we are not considering C2C (Corp-to-Corp), W4, or any type of contract engagement for this role.
