Job Description

The Sr. Clinical Development Scientist will be a part of the clinical affairs team in Greater China. They will contribute to evidence generation strategies for new product introductions and lifecycle management, develop clinical and health economic evidence, and participate in clinical deliverables such as plans, reports, and regulatory submissions. This role requires close collaboration with Clin Ops and BS&DM for clinical study management and includes supporting clinical literature searches and reviews. The position is based in Shenzhen.
Must have:
  • Master or PhD in clinical medicine.
  • Medical experience in relevant specialties.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in clinical development.
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements and clinical data interpretation.
  • Effective organizing, communication, and project management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written skills in English and Mandarin.

Be a member of the clinical affairs team in Greater China.

Clinical affairs team is an integral part of global Chief Medical Office. The Clinical Development Scientist will work in the product development cross functional team, drive the development of robust evidence generation strategies and plans to ensure the value of our solutions have a meaningful clinical and economic value proposition.

You are responsible for

According to Clinical Evaluation process and regulations, guidelines

  • Participate in the evidence generation processes for New Product introduction & Life-Cycle Management.
  • Participate in the CDMA(Clinical Development and Market Access) process, develop clinical and health economic evidence to support market authorization, market access and market adoption.
  • Participate in the development of clinical deliverables, including clinical evaluation plans and reports, clinical trial protocols and reports, PMCF plans and reports & clinical sections of regulatory submissions.
  • Work closely with Clin Ops and BS&DM on day to day management of assigned clinical studies.
  • Support clinical literature searches and reviews.

You will base in Shenzhen.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Education: Master or PhD in clinical medicine;
  • Medical Experience: Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care Medicine Experience.
  • Experience:1-3 years’ experience in clinical development function or related clinical area;
  • Competencies and Skills:
  • Demonstrated expertise in NMPA and/or MDR regulatory requirements and clinical data interpretation;
  • Effective organizing, communication, and project management skills;
  • Effective verbal and written skills in both English and Mandarin;
  • Proficient in Biostatistics software is preferred.
