The opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) organization. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape the future of data at eBay and make a significant impact on our business and customers.
The role involves overseeing 6 large domains with dozens of product families, focusing on data and data platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with an exceptional ability to develop and execute product strategy and vision.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the entire data portfolio at eBay.
Lead and manage the CDT product organization, ensuring alignment with eBay's overall business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Drive innovation in data technologies to enhance eBay's competitive edge in the market.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product portfolio.
Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data and data platforms.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies.
Strong technical background and understanding of data technologies and trends including including data infrastructure, data platforms, data analytics, AI/ML, databases (Relational, NoSQL), data streaming, Hadoop etc.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$206,400 - $332,750Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
