Sr. Fullstack Developer, AI

Vimeo is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our AI Applications team. The AI applications team is working as an end to end unit, delivering product solutions from the very beginning of an idea towards the final user experience, where the main expertise is around products that require AI abilities.
You will be responsible for developing, iterating, and maintaining Vimeo's AI based user experiences on a variety of destinations on the Vimeo platform. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team of Product engineers, AI researchers, data scientists and Machine learning (ML) Engineers, you will work with the most recent AI tools and abilities in the industry, and will take a key role in shaping how those will make an impact on vimeo customers. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design, front-end, and ML engineers to develop and implement new features for Vimeo's platform.
• Build scalable services and applications to support Vimeo's large-scale platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for front-end features, and actively participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with Front-End, Back-End, and AI developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of front-end features.
• Identify opportunities to improve our architecture and tooling across multiple levels of the stack.
• Continuously research and explore new technologies, tools, and techniques to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience with the React framework and a solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS
• Experience developing services at scale with Node.js, Python, PHP or GO.
• Experience with Developing APIs, web infrastructure, databases and microservices.
• Big-picture thinking: understand how individual parts fit into the whole, and problem-solve for scale and efficiency
• Able to communicate and collaborate respectfully and effectively with both technical and non-technical teams

Bonus Points :

• Familiarity with Back-End development (PHP, Python).
• Experience with video services.
• Passion for AI applications.
