As a Hardware Engineer, you will design, develop, modify and evaluate components used in electronic devices that involve mechanical systems and equipment and/or the manipulation and transmission of electricity. You will define design approaches, technical specifications and parameters for devices and ensure that designs and specifications document test requirements that account for customer use scenarios. This opportunity will allow you to select materials and components based on analysis of specifications and reliability and may work with suppliers to select optimal materials and components for devices. You will develop test plans and test cases.

You will provide make-versus-buy recommendations to management with tradeoffs based on complexity, financial impact, quality, reliability and time duration. Influences decision making with wider decision makers and stakeholders.
Using your deep knowledge in a specific and complex engineering domain or knowledge in multiple technical areas, you will share and acquire advanced knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, the customer experience and advances in various engineering fields.
You will implement and track product plans that describe the user experience, enable customer/partner testing scenarios, allow for design reuse and are verifiable. Provides recommendations to help develop comprehensive product plans (e.g., describe the user experience, enable customer/partner testing scenarios, allow for design reuse, are verifiable).
You will work closely with ODM/OEM partners to coordinate and review hardware design proposals. You will take an active role in the selection and integration of key systems such as camera modules, audio modules, and battery management systems.
You will participate in firmware development and debugging, driving hardware and low-level driver optimization to improve overall system performance.
