Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize chemical processes and enhance overall efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve chemical-related issues in a timely manner
• Lead and participate in safety audits and compliance activities to maintain a secure and healthy work environment
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports on chemical test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to incorporate best practices into the organization's chemical processes
• Train and mentor junior chemists to ensure their professional growth and development within the organization
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable practices in line with the organization's environmental goals
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field - Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred
• 6-10 years of experience in the Copper Business industry - Proven track record of success in chemical analysis and process improvement - Strong understanding of quality control procedures and regulatory standards within the industry
