Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our UI Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining our frontend infrastructure, ensuring robust, visually stunning, and accessible interfaces. Your expertise in SCSS, TypeScript, React, and NX will be essential in building and theming components in line with designs provided by our UI/UX team from Figma.

Qualifications

Develop and maintain scalable and efficient frontend infrastructure using SCSS, TypeScript, React and NX.

Collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to implement designs from Figma into high-quality, themed components using PrimeReact, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.

Lead the development of reusable code and libraries for future use.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.

Implement and uphold best practices for web accessibility (a11y) to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines.

Utilize NX for enhanced development experience, including effective code organization and streamlined project management.

Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Storybook for component documentation and development.

Implement and maintain visual tests, unit tests, and accessibility tests to ensure code quality, functionality, and compliance.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development, infrastructure, and accessibility standards.

Additional Information

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with significant experience from technology elite units or equivalent are also welcome.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in frontend development.

Extensive experience with SCSS, TypeScript, and React.

Demonstrated understanding of UI design implementation, preferably with experience in translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect code.

Knowledge of web accessibility (a11y) testing and WCAG compliance is highly desirable.

Proficiency with Storybook for component development and documentation.

Strong skills in visual testing, unit testing, and accessibility testing.

Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and information security practices is a significant plus.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc), NX, and PrimeReact is considered a strong advantage.
