Job Description

This role involves managing transportation and logistics projects, focusing on route optimization, logistics system implementation, facility management, process automation, and operational expansion. The candidate will lead strategic projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and supervising logistics projects, coordinating with various departments, managing budgets and resources, identifying risks, implementing new technologies, generating reports, and driving improvements in logistics flows. The role requires strong project management skills, knowledge of the logistics environment, and the ability to work in dynamic environments. The individual should be proactive and organized, with skills in personnel management and crisis management.

Job Details

General Description:

Project Management function, focus on Transportation and logistics operations. Capability of leading strategic projects related to route optimization, implementation of logistics management systems, facilities, process automation and operations expansion. Strong project management skills, knowledge of logistics environment, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in dynamic environments, all based on optimal operation designing, human resources development and management, QCTS concepts, KPIS, tracking & Nissan Way thinking.

 

 

Operation: Bought Out parts ground transportation, Final Vehicle Logistics, In-house parts transportation, Last mile logistics, Quality assurance on field and VPC’s.

 

Scope: All NMEX plants, Parts suppliers, Carriers, Service suppliers, Dealers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and supervise logistics projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with key areas such as NMEX operations, Warehouses, IT, purchasing, customer service, VPC, etc.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Identify operational risks and propose mitigation plans.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and automation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Generate progress reports and present results to top management.
  • Drive improve performance in logistics flows and their redesign.
  • To develop technical specifications as request logistics suppliers.
  • Define operational strategies to face risk situations.
  • Budget estimation and OPEX / CAPEX execution and supervision.
  • KPI´s design, implementation & improvement
  • Human resources development
  • Accomplishment of DOA’s process

  • Language: English (> 600 Pts. TOEIC)
  • Work schedule change %: 100%.

Years of Experience:

2 years of experience in related operations

Education/Certifications:

  • Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree related (Industrial/ business management or similar) or higher.

Previous Work Experience:

  • Domestic logistics and shipping coordination (Direct and milk run schemes).
  • Import and export shipping coordination.
  • Transport normativity and regulations (Special kind of transportation)
  • Project Management: Proven experience in logistics or transportation projects. Desired certifications.
  • Tools and Technology (Proficiency with tools such as TMS, WMS, YMS and Project management platforms)
  • Manufacturing operations knowledge.
  • Project Management (Scheduling preparation by Gantt Chart)
  • Project execution (Milestone accomplishment/supervision)
  • Incoterms knowledge
  • Certifications and regulations (CTPAT & OEA)
  • KPI´ establishment
  • Supply chain management (risk management)
  • Cross docking.
