  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) to integrate CRM and automate processes.
  • Design and implement workflows for efficient purchase order processing, logistics, order fulfillment, and real-time tracking.

This position is essential for achieving operational excellence by strategically customizing Salesforce, streamlining critical business processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, and fulfillment.

Roles and responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Key Responsibilities:

As our Staff Engineer, Salesforce Automation Specialist, you'll be the expert behind our CRM, ensuring it's a powerful tool for growth and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Salesforce CRM Leadership: Taking complete ownership of the Salesforce CRM system, from implementing new features and customizing workflows to meticulously tracking marketing campaigns and managing leads and opportunities.
  • Strategic Reporting: Ensuring impeccable data accuracy and generating insightful reports and dashboards that empower sales and marketing leadership with critical insights.
  • Seamless Integration: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) to integrate the CRM and automate processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Optimizing the Order Lifecycle: Designing and implementing workflows to efficiently process purchase orders from customers and distribution partners. You'll also enable robust workflows for managing logistics, coordinating with the operations team to validate, fulfill, and ship orders, and providing real-time tracking of order status, backlog, and timely customer updates.
  • Opportunities for Broader Contribution:
  • Assisting with quarterly sales forecasting and quota tracking to support strategic planning.
  • Contributing to sales enablement initiatives, such as developing training materials and toolkits.

Desired background, qualifications, and skills:

  • Deep Salesforce Expertise: A strong understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform and a proven ability to develop and customize Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and managing SFDC tools.
  • Global Perspective: Prior experience working with distributors and supporting global sales teams.
  • Exceptional Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability: The ability to work independently and thrive in our fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Highly Valued:
  • Experience in sales operations or order management, particularly within high-tech startups.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
