Success in the Role:

This role is an opportunity for a hands-on SRE engineer looking for their next growth opportunity. You will have a large scope driving the scale of the SaaS platform and application offerings. This role will grow your breadth and depth of technical skills, working alongside architects with prior experiences from the likes of Google and Microsoft. It will sharpen your focus on scalability, performance, security, cost and governance of a web scale enterprise SaaS platform.

As a Staff Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering, you will:

Be responsible of keeping all the cloud production systems running smoothly. In this role you will focus on the following:

● Run the infrastructure on AWS with CI/CD , Kubernetes, Terraform

● Design, Build and maintain the infrastructure on AWS for scaling for hundreds of thousands of concurrent users with fault tolerance and security in mind.

● Improve observability across platform and the applications they host.

● Improve operation processes such as deployments/upgrades.

● Handle support for the platform and the applications.

● Manage the networking, storage and security aspects of the infrastructure.

Work Experience and Skills required:

● Overall 12+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering and support functions.

● Experience with scalable and fault-tolerant Kubernetes clusters on the AWS platform.

● Experience with cloud security, observability, dashboarding, repository management and automated cloud releases.

● Cloud cost optimization, operational compliance metrics and security operations.

● Experience with backups and Disaster Recovery for high availability.

● AWS Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional are a plus.

● Kubernetes Certification, Linux Administration, Postgres , Mongo database knowledge is a plus

● Experience in driving incident management, problem management and change management

● Good communication and negotiation skills
