We're looking for a Staff Product Test Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX! You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production test solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test innovative mixed-signal products including audio codecs, haptics/sensing ICs, and audio power amplifiers for automotive applications.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the creation and deployment of next-generation production test solutions
Design sophisticated mixed-signal ATE board schematics, oversee all aspects of PCB layouts, and lead test hardware debug and release-to-mass-production
Collaborate regularly with IC design engineers, validation engineers, and various other teams
Join in cross-functional team meetings to resolve complex device debug and production issues
Test program software development from pre-silicon through production release
Interpret datasheet specs and trim requirements to create appropriate ATE hardware
Participate in yield improvement activities and cost reduction projects
Provide customer return support
Document test procedures and methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of semiconductor test engineering experience
Capability to create, debug, edit, release and own all aspects of an ATE test program
Capability to design, debug, and deploy complex mixed-signal test hardware
Previous experience as lead PTE on an automotive product from inception through production release
Understanding of tri-temperature testing and the temperature insertion elimination processes
Extensive understanding of IP characterization and resulting data analysis
Broad expertise of various circuit blocks and topologies, such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, charge pumps, and common digital communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, SPMI, I2S, and TDM
Strong problem-solving and debug skills
Ability to work to, and deliver upon, tight time schedules
Solid communication skills and adeptness working in a multi-functional engineering team
Data and yield analysis skills using tools such as Spotfire, JMP, Syntricity, Excel
