In your new role you will:

  • IT Senior Specialist for IT system automation, a fast learner to define and architect the future of design methodologies in CM area in specialization of DM and PLM with solid understanding of Design environment
  • Provide and automate IT systems for Configuration Management for Infineon’s Engineering that increase the productivity and measure the product quality.
  • Provide IT support and administration of Configuration Management tools, PLM tools and Design environment.
  • Contribute to system maintenance and deploying new features.
  • Implement automation solutions for operational excellence with reduced manual efforts and errors.
  • Contribute towards strategic initiatives, projects, and task forces against committed plans in collaborative multi-organizational and multi-geo team setup.
  • Establish lasting relationships with your users and collaboration partners.
  • Drive for synergies in practice & tooling. Build reusable assets for our Infineon’s tools for HW & SW development, our user documentation and Training material.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in software development or systems development life cycle, preferably in R&D department / design center in a Semiconductor industry and a similar role.
  • Understanding of Design Systems, Design Flow and Trouble shooting design environment.
  • Software development skills in Perl/Python/Linux Scripting with success stories of implemented automations
  • Administrative level knowledge in configuration management and design supporting tools like ICManage, Perforce, Subversion, ClearCase, Methodics IPLM, Design Sync, git/Bitbucket, git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, PLM systems like PTC Windchill.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integration & technical architectures and track record of influenced design decisions
  • Hands-on experience in providing supporting SW/HW development environments with integrated quality standard and trouble shooting issues.
  • Optional experience in managing IT application lifecycle management and operating IT infrastructure.
  • Well conversant with both Unix/ Linux and Windows Platforms
  • Experience working in an Agile environment as a Scrum team member.
