The Stage Manager oversees all aspects of live show performances in the Walt Disney Theatre, providing leadership and development for performers. Responsibilities include calling technical cues for shows with extensive automation, managing performers for onboard performances (including deck parties), training back-up personnel, and acting as House Manager for the theatre. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, ensuring show quality, creating rehearsal schedules, facilitating meetings, and managing personnel. Additional responsibilities include handling personnel files, conducting performance reviews, ensuring compliance, processing requests, and providing onboard training. The Stage Manager maintains show scripts, coordinates with shoreside teams, and addresses show quality issues.
Good To Have:- Disney Entertainment Operations experience
- Technical or performance experience
- College degree in related field
Must Have:- 5+ years stage management experience with highly technical shows
- Experience in Company Management and calling large-scale shows
- Leadership and team motivation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
