Job Description

The Strategic Agency Manager at Google Customer Solutions collaborates with agencies to expand relationships, grow the customer base, and optimize advertising investments. This role demands consistent achievement of strategic goals for new and existing business, ensuring a superior experience for Google's managed agency partners. Responsibilities include developing data-driven, long-term agency plans, synchronizing these plans with internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor to executives and account teams, analyzing data trends, creating strategic business plans, and delivering compelling presentations. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, advertising, business development, and managing partnerships, along with strong communication and influencing skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Digital marketing/advertising experience
  • Business development/partner management experience
  • C-level executive interaction experience
  • Agreement/partnership management experience
Good to have:
  • Experience in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to identify and assess business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in digital marketing industry, digital advertising, business consultative, business development or partner management.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increasing our customer, agency base, and optimizing their advertising investment.
  • Deliver consistently against strategic goals on new and existing business, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent business experience to Google's managed agency partners.
  • Build compelling, data-driven long-term agency plans leveraging market insights and research. Synchronize agency plans with our agency pod and internal cross-functional teams to further develop our agencies.
  • Be a trusted thought partner for executives and to specific Account teams, including Media Planners and Buyers on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
  • Analyze data trends, customer performance, and develop strategic business plans, and prepare, conduct strategic pitches and business presentations.
