Job Description

This role focuses on managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of YouTube content partners. Responsibilities include day-to-day partnership activities, performance growth, internal advocacy for partners, defining and analyzing key metrics, recommending improvements, and developing new opportunities. The Strategic Partner Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams across YouTube's Business Organization (including Business, Marketing, Policy, Communication, Legal, etc.) to deliver solutions to partners and ensure their success on the platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong business development skills, experience working with C-level executives and experience in managing content partnerships. Fluency in English and Tagalog is required for this customer-facing role. This position is located in Singapore and involves working in an entrepreneurial environment. The goal is to enhance the user experience and improve the overall YouTube ecosystem.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of experience in relevant fields
  • Fluent in English and Tagalog
  • Manage and grow partner relationships
  • Analyze key metrics and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, business, account management, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Tagalog fluently to interact in this customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience as a content creator, with finding, developing, and managing YouTube creators.
  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience in working with data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation planning, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of content partners, which includes day-to-day partnership activities, performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of our partners.
  • Define, model, execute against and analyze key distribution and product adoption metrics and recommend improvements internally and to partners, as well as develop new opportunities.
  • Work with teams, across the YouTube Business Organization and cross-functional teams (e.h., Business, Marketing, Policy, Communication, Legal, etc.) to bring the solutions to partners.
