The Strategy and Operations Lead at gTech Ads Solutions will define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives. This role requires collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, gathering information, conducting business analysis, and managing projects effectively. The ideal candidate will enable critical business decisions, share learnings across teams, and partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, including global priorities. Responsibilities include providing oversight, removing roadblocks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the successful execution of business initiatives. The team supports Google's Ads products, providing services ranging from self-help tools to complex technical solutions for customers of all sizes. They work with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to improve products and client experience.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 4+ years experience in consulting/software/media
  • Experience structuring and executing analyses
  • Leading operational and cross-functional initiatives
  • Senior stakeholder management and communication
Good to have:
  • Master's degree
  • Management consulting experience
  • Domain expertise in Operations, Customer Solutions, and Online Media

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in consulting, software, Internet, media industries, or early stage companies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • 4 years of experience structuring and executing analyses to support strategy.
  • Experience leading operational and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Work experience in management consulting firm or equivalent project management experience in a strategy function for software, Internet, media industries or early stage companies.
  • Experience with senior stakeholder management and executive communication both internal and external.
  • Domain expertise in Operations, Customer Solutions and Internet/Online Media.

Responsibilities

  • Define, structure, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives for gTech Ads Solutions teams, while acting as a strategic thought partner to the leadership.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather relevant information, context, and drive business analysis with effective project communication and management.
  • Enable critical business decision making by working with cross-functional stakeholders and cross-pollinate learnings.
  • Partner with gTech Ads Solutions leadership in end-to-end driving of strategic initiatives (including global priorities).
  • Provide oversight and connectivity to business-focused standalone initiatives and removing roadblocks to execution, and eliminating conflicts.
