Job Description

Inkitt seeks a Strategy & Operations, Marketing professional to collaborate with the CEO and VP of Growth on high-priority strategic initiatives driving organic revenue growth. Responsibilities include developing and leading buzz-worthy marketing campaigns, testing innovative go-to-market strategies, setting marketing KPIs, analyzing campaign performance, staying abreast of entertainment trends, and partnering with product/engineering. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, and growth marketing, a proven track record of business impact, and a strong understanding of the entertainment landscape. The role requires data-driven decision-making, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have:

Job Details

Inkitt is building the Disney of the 21st Century, standing at the forefront of technology and entertainment. What You'll Do

    • Collaborate directly with the CEO and VP of Growth on high-priority strategic initiatives to drive organic revenue growth, overseeing projects from inception to completion. Focus on 0 to 1 type of work, taking new ideas and transforming them into actionable, revenue-generating solutions.
    • Lead and develop buzz-worthy marketing campaigns to drive awareness and effectively impact business goals.
    • Push boundaries by testing innovative go-to-market strategies targeted to our key consumers, bringing innovation to the forefront of our plans and activations.
    • Set the marketing mix to support campaigns including but not limited to; on-the-ground events, influencers, social, CRM, etc. 
    • Establish campaign KPIs and analyze campaign performance during and post-campaign to drive ongoing improvements and efficiencies.
    • Have your finger on the pulse of entertainment, social trends, and continually evaluate the competitive landscape of the entertainment category.
    • Partner with product and engineering to develop solutions for improving user experience.

What You'll Bring

    • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, and growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving business impact in a fast-paced environment
    • Direct experience developing 360 marketing campaigns
    • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions to improve and optimize campaigns
    • Strong communication and organizational skills, and are a team-player
    • The ability to operate and thrive under tight timelines and the ability to pivot with ease
    • A curious creative mind, and strong eye for visual design
    • Tapped into pop-culture and fandoms with an in-depth understanding of consumer affinities across film/television, publishing, games, etc
    • An innate ability to keep up with, and understand what is relevant, on-trend, and outdated
    • Obsession with detail
Compensation will be determined by skill level, proficiencies, and experience.
