Studio Manager

With a global network of 75+ studios, we co-develop games and provide comprehensive support across all aspects of game development including Localization, QA, Audio Services, Art Production, Game Development, Marketing services and much more. Our teams bring the visions of industry leaders to life, whether enhancing iconic franchises or building new projects from the ground up.

We are looking to hire a Studio Manager who can help our team succeed further.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the work of Art Leads across projects to ensure that they meet client expectations
• Create competitive estimates and bids
• Adopt appropriate work processes and pipeline
• Create and implement stringent Quality Plans
• Provide meaningful artistic reviews and feedback to artists
• Consistently adopt and use organizational process and best practices
• Work with PMs to identify project risks proactively and have meaningful plans to mitigate them
• Work proactively to meet project goals with regard to project budget, monthly billing, schedules and overall quality
• Work with Project Teams to solve quality and/or efficiency issues
• Provide regular performance feedback to Art Leads.
• Mentor and support in their growth and development.
• Participate in the organization’s Performance Review and Management process

Technical and Behavioral Skills:

• Experience in creating Next Gen Game Art
• Experience of leading a large team on either a AAA game project or at an Art Outsourcing studio
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening

Requirements

• Proven experience in leadership roles, particularly as a Studio Head or equivalent (minimum two years experience), managing large teams and studio operations.
• Strong understanding of production workflows and the ability to manage the entire production lifecycle effectively.
• Experience leading teams on AAA game projects or at an Art Outsourcing studio.
• Expertise in creating Next Gen Game Art, with the ability to guide teams in maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, to coordinate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adopt and enforce organizational processes and best practices.
• Ability to work autonomously, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project goals are met.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring team members, providing performance feedback, and fostering professional growth.
• Familiarity with creating estimates, bids, and implementing quality plans to meet client expectations.
• Proven ability to solve quality and efficiency issues in collaboration with project teams.
