Job Description

The Study Abroad Advisor (North America) will provide end-to-end guidance to students pursuing higher education opportunities in North America. This includes managing client interactions, offering personalized academic and career advice, guiding students through university selection and application processes, and handling administrative tasks like contract signing and profile creation. Additionally, the advisor will conduct outreach through educational fairs, webinars, and university events. The ideal candidate will have experience in international education counseling, especially for US and Canadian institutions, along with strong communication skills and a student-focused approach. This is a full-time position with a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • 1 year of successful experience in education counseling.
Good to have:
  • US study experience is preferred.
  • Consulting experience is preferred.

The role:


We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Study Abroad Consultant – US & Canada Focus to provide end-to-end guidance to students pursuing higher education opportunities in North America. This role involves managing client interactions, offering personalized academic and career advice, and guiding students through the university selection and application process. The consultant will also handle administrative tasks such as signing contracts, setting up student profiles, and tracking application progress. In addition to one-on-one advising, the role includes conducting outreach through educational fairs, webinars, and university events. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in international education counselling, particularly for US and Canadian institutions, along with strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a proactive, student-first approach.


Role responsibilities:


  • Specialize in study-abroad consulting services targeting the United States and Canada.
  • Manage client communication, address inquiries, schedule visits, and provide students and parents with comprehensive study-abroad guidance.
  • Sign study-abroad contracts, create student profiles, and develop application progress reports.
  • Offer professional advice on major selection, career planning, and university applications, considering current domestic and international employment trends.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing presentations at educational fairs, university talks, and online webinars to expand client outreach.
  • Work closely with the Case Manager team for seamless application, visa preparation, and pre-departure coordination.

Key skills and experience:

  • Bachelors degree from a recognized university; US study experience and/or consulting experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of successful experience in international education counselling for North American universities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive in identifying client needs and providing solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM tools.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and working under pressure.
